Trekkers Speak

Mine was made even better trekking with Meghana and her team at Treks n Tales.

Trekking the Himalays had been on my bucket list for a while but I was a little apprehensive as I had never been beyond Madras and the thought of traveling all the way up north was beyond my imagination.

Meghana and her team put everything to rest for me. Right from the initial orientation to ensuring each of us were comfortable all along, they were the best. For me personally, being my first time, Meghana was besides me through out, pushing me to believe in myself and always there to hold my hands and pull me up when I felt like giving up! The assurance that she was right there is what helped me finish the trek!

I truly feel blessed having sumitted the pass. I believe it was Meghana’s spot on decision making on how to weather the bad climate and her team’s undeterred enthusiasm that helped us get to the final point. Can’t wait to go on my next trek soon – I’m sure that’s going to be with Treks n Tales too!”

Trek: Hampta Pass

It was the best and it all happened just because of my beautiful
friends who always say Yes without a question when I plan something.</em>
<em>The journey of making it to the Summit of Kedarkanta Peak was not at
all an easy task initially, but with the support of the wonderful team of
Treks n Tales we made it! Our entire gang can’t thank you enough;
Suresh Bhaiya (Awesome Chef) for always serving us with yummy and
hot food, Suraj Bhaiya (the Best Guide) for motivating us and trekking
with us till the end and Meghna – The best trek Leader anybody can ask
for; drom briefing us about the trek, giving all the tips for a safe trek, in-
fact everything. You have a wonderful team. We will see you guys soon
for the next trek.

Trek: Kedarkanta Winter Trek

Kedarkanta being my first trek, I am glad i chose Treks n Tales.

Kudos to Meghana, we had a good time and liked all the arrangements and facilities provided at the camp site. The food, sleeping bags, tents and other equipments provided were of good quality.

TApart from all the smoothly done logistics like absolutely delicious food, tents, equipment etc, what made the Kedarkanta trek a memorable one was the brilliantly curated experience of providing isolation even on such a commercial trek. From taking the offbeat routes to having a small trekking group, experience and thoughtfulness goes toward building such experience. And yes couldn’t have asked for a better trek leader than Meghna.
